After 3 years I've finally been convinced to make a thefacebook page for Flow Force. Can I strong arm anyone into hitting the like button?

That's exactly why I resisted for so long. I will need to post stuff every now and then.

I also recommend caution with Facebook advertising. It's the same with forum advertisers as well. Not necessarily with this forum, but plenty of places I belong to with guys paying their advertising dues that come with their own subforum that they are obviously not monitoring... not only are they not posting, but also not answering peoples questions, and then checking their profile see that they haven't logged in for months or years. I've never owned a business, but just seems like a waste of advertising dollars to have your sign up somewhere only to have people see an empty shell. When I see a small company with a Facebook page that hasn't been updated in months, it's a complete turnoff. Highly recommend setting some sort of screaming alarm for 0800 Monday (every week, all year round) morning that says "UPDATE FACEBOOK"... just a random picture or anything lets people who visit know that you're still operating and somebody will answer the phone if they call.

Thanks Samnavy. I resisted for a super long time for that exact reason, but after enough people were like "I can't find you on Facebook" I figured I should take a good crack at it.

I state on my dog page that you need to call and I don't respond to fake book messages. But then, I only require a very small client base, and can afford to tell people to F-off if I want.

While I supposed I could technically tell people to eff off, it's not my style

Thanks for the cat Art! A site is great and all, and I hope people go there and hang out and buy stuff, but I believe that you need to meet people where they are. Early on I focused on eBay and Amazon, but now I'm thinking that I should have paid more attention to Facebook.
