Anybody have any experience with how long plastidip lasts? Is it like a 6 month deal? What about UV? I've seen a huge variance of experience while researching on dipyourcar.com so I was hoping for some first hand accounts.

A friend of mine did his black evo8 in white. I mean, the car looks like a stock white evo.

I've had my rear finish panel dipped for a while now. I would guess at least 6 months with no sign of it coming off, and still looks good. But I also sprayed the whole thing so there wouldn't be a spot for it to start pealing. My friend did his mustang but had to tape off some parts and after like a week it started pealing. It's still holding on, but it you can tell its pealed slightly.

No, have not seen that in person yet. I'd guess that the Evo in the pics Viper posted has the "glossifier" given the reflection on the rear bumper...pretty shiny. Definitely check out the website and the videos for more images.

Was wondering that myself. Probably a quick change on the registration?

Looking on their site they've got kits that come with 3 gallons and also 4 gallons. Wonder how many the miata needs. Would probably be cool with just 3 but I'll more than likely end up getting the 4 gallon and then plastidipping random **** around the house for a while.

No clue. Never had a reason to repaint a car different color however it does say the color on the title and the insurance/registration papers doesnt it?

We've done the fenders on our rat rod miata track car thingy. It holds dirt like crazy,
Not the easiest to clean. Kind of like a pair of plier handles, after the first time you hold them with dirty hands they're never clean again.

I used Plasti-dip on my top radiator ducting panel. Maybe there are different formulations, but the stuff I used is dissolved by petroleum products. Something to be aware of.

Plastidip. It's a rough surface that holds dirt.

Supposed to clean it with a hair bristle brush (shoe brush) and dish soap. Not kidding.

Fonzie says that you can just pressure/power wash. Be mindful of edges.
