I can't keep this a secret any longer. I got orders a few weeks ago and will be moving back to Virginia Beach... forever. I've got 8-9 years left until I retire and have told my detailer that I will not be moving again.

Our house has been sitting empty for about 2 months now (the lawsuit against our previous tenants goes to court in Dec and I will report back in detail later) and we're moving in! The packers/movers are here today in New Orleans and we will be on the road TOMORROW! Planning on a Saturday arrival with our stuff getting there Monday.

It's true that I'm going on close to 5 years now without a Miata, but I still claim primary forum residency right here at MT.net. I do own another Mazda turbo, so my continuing presence isn't entirely illegitimate.

Anyways, I will be headed back down here to NOLA at the end of the month after the fam is all settled until I officially rotate November 1st. I'll be doing 2 weeks of strenuous duty in Key West early-mid October, and then going on my annual hunting bro-fest in Texas the first week of November.

Life update complete.
