Default Wasted thread v. Google Chrome

Trying out Chrome, Opera has been pissing me off lately with not cooperating with youtube videos and other things. Getting everything set up and I have a few questions. Is there a way to double click the tab bar to open a new tab? I dont see that in any of the settings. Is there a a way to get into advanced settings? Recommended extensions, etc?

Idk about your question, but youtube has been weird for me too in Opera. Videos wouldn't load all the way for a few days, but now its fine.

Ive been having the issue for months. If I load one, then go to a different tab most of the time when I come back I just have a white box. If i try to load multiple videos they would do that even if I didnt leave the tab. Some would half play then go white.

one of the annoying things i've noticed in chrome (lately)is that if you do a google vid search - then you choose a video and you want to use the back button to go back to the search results - it just keeps loading the same video you choose - you wind up having to click twice or more to get it to actually go back...

also to the op - i don't know why you would want to have to double click for a new tab when you can just single click the + button and have a new tab...

If I double click the bar then I have a significantly larger space to open windows from.

looks like you can change it to close, but not open - guess they want that to stay the pop out command -
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...pkedoaidkeikcm

just use ctrl-t like someone else already said or go to ff - it works there
keep in mind ff does use more memory tho most of the time..

Mac? That might make a difference in some of these suggestions.
