Is that Galaxy Gray? I saw the counterpart with the Green trim at PRI and I want to paint my car this color...no Mazda2 came this color.

 

It's not a factory Mazda color (or so they said). I saw it at the LA Auto Show and it's called something like "Evil Track Car Gray". I liked it quite a bit.

 

I dumbly asked the Mazda rep. who was like "well, it's like Galaxy grey, but not exactly because it's not a production color" (I pointed out that I knew it wasn't a normal color when I asked what it was to begin with ) and went on and on and on. Guessing by some of the decals on the car, I think AWR is the one who did the body/paint work (as they did the 787B "heritage" NC back in 2006). So you might want to call AWR and ask them.

I tried to get a close up of the color which has a lot more depth and color than pictures like the one you posted reveal.

I like the Mazda2, someone at my school just picked up a black one & they're TINY for a 5-seat hatchback.

I wish I snapped a pic, it's nearly exactly as long as my NB (155" & change).

 

Holy ****, the one I saw at PRI didn't look like it had near that amount of metallic in it...though it wasn't in a very well lit section...
