Yeah I am serious about eating them. I am grossed out by the idea but I have to try it.

News regarding their toughness: The compost pile got flooded during the insane rains two days ago. Found out 24 hours later and they were swimming around underwater and most were still alive.

Not painted or anything. This is how these are found in the wild and they are a protected species since 2005. I got this one from a good friend of mine back in 04.
