Seriously, teh people who run that site are the same morons who put teeth on thier cars, yellow rooster stickers, and bear wheels. Why are so many people in the miata crew douchecanoe dipshits?

haha I saw that this morning and thought the same thing. The owner of miata.net acutally closed the thread. I used to pay for sponsership there but it was a waste and a pain, plus he has 45 other sponsers that pay at least $175 a month, so I don't feel bad.

Miata.net mods are things like.. "Hey I put some new carpet in my car today, I bought 1000 dollar gauges to make my car look like a retro MG." They are not performance enthusiasts, just the equivalent of roadster ricers.

Spot on.

And you can't even post pictures and have more than 3 PMs in your box. I've had numerous posts removed and gotten PMed from various mods because I didn't follow the rules or tried to make a joke.

I asked him if he had a problem with "******," and to not let his unreasonable disinclination for my vernacular impede upon my forum enjoyment.

I'm from the vw scene previously. Those guys are douch nozzles, but there is a higher propensity for more intense idiocy within the miata circle, though a much lower quantity. The ------ry is essentially more "acute."

and they're all a bunch of morons who know nothing about cars other than gayed out stickers and body kits. I got so much **** over there for painting my brg. Its not like a ferrari or anything, its a damn miata.

I wouldnt let them bother you, I rarely post there merely for the fact that out of the 300ish people online about 5% online at any given time actually know anything. The other 95% are too busy trying to find british shift boots that cost 650 dollars.

Dont forget to support your sponsors. If they don't sell it, you shouldn't use it.

Did he ever message you and let you know why he locked the thread??

I didn't see anything wrong with that thread. Maybe the guy didn't like the shocker sticker? lol

Weird. Coming from HMT, that kind of stuff is weaksauce.

Hahaha. I guess that was my first post.

The mods are the reason that i basically avoid m.net and spend most of my time on honda-tech (i dont and never have owned a honda but many people there have miatas as race/second cars) and here.

that's the gospel. IMO - that's the best thing about these cars, you can use every tool in the tool box on 'em without fear of braking something you can't afford.

I put my spare tire under the rear so the trunk would hold an entire 1.6. disassembled of course.
