I agree there are some stupid posts on m-net, but it is a different forum than here with a different audience.

A person would be a fool to not recognize there has been a mob mentality on the FI forum, much of coming from here. I think Savington had a couple of well written comments in that thread, some others did not.

My solution is to come here for FI advice and use the search feature over at m.net for other stuff that has been well discussed such as repair procedures or stuff dealing with soft tops, or basic stuff like that.

I do agree with Savington and whoever else posted suggestions for FAQ Stickies that answer real basic FI questions. I find the stickies here on mt.net to be invaluable and I find myself reading them often.

I think the thread the OP linked to was really good… the one about the dual feed fuel rail. Oh, we are not talking about that anymore?

I do much rather attend this forum the M.net. The BS section is so damn funny, every day (Markp: btw are you a professional satyr writer or something? ) and the technical discussion is on a much higher level. M.net has really gone down since I started using it and now I do not even bother to go there. The mods are not reacting at all the noobs posting the same questions everyday and the technical level of the discussion has gone down a lot. It gets boring fast.

That said, some of these “**** you! No, **** YOU!” threads here get boring quite fast too. It is just a car forum, ok? It is not so damn personal. Give it a rest sometimes.

Oh, and if you are going to flame me, you need to be really straight forward. English is not my first language, so the little hints just passes me right by, ok? Thanks!

yeah, I haven't been back to munich since 2001. I need some Germany back in my life. The german women aren't the most beautiful in the world, but they run great and take instruction well.

With mustard, onions or Sauerkraut? Perhaps a Warsteiner to go with it?

ill take plain, hold the warsteiner, might have trouble in customs here, the alcohol content is way to high for this countries standards

I live in South Central Texas, Wurst of many kind are readily available.

A co-worker is my hook-up for homebrew, so quality (potent) Dunkels, Bochs, Ales, Lagers, Abbotts, Porters and even Mead are available.

What I want (especially on a damp, cool day such as this) is a good bowl of Ox Tail Soup and a small loaf of black bread...
