I picked this hunk of metal up when I picked up my intercooler and bov...I figured I could sell it and it was dirt cheap.

From what I've researched it may be a turbo from a 99-2003 7.3l ford turbo diesel...but I could be wrong.

Compressor A/R is 1.10
Exhaust A/R is .84

Its a Garrett and it seems to be missing some tags.

looks like a disel as their turbine side is usally larger than the compressor side

disel turbos are not good on gasoline cars

 

Just change the fins .

I need to get rid of it, anybody have any idea how much it should be worth?
No shaftplay...the compressor fins are a bit beat though.

Boy i'm willing to bet thats a GTP38 Ford Powerstroke Turbo. I can't believe no one else said that?
