you should start your own thread and see what kind of advice you get
maybe even get your dad signed up and we can give him advice on what he should do (like adoption, boarding school, etc.)

not to hijack, OP has plenty of good advice here if he is limited on how much he can spend on his car...

dont count on it dude, you better start making your own
once people age they tend to rack up medical bills, no one stays healthy forever
and if your dad does stay well im sure he will want to travel once he stops working and all of the sudden your left with very little afterwards, and your dad is gone to a better place and you need to provide for your own family yadda yadda yadda
i wish i had the narrow sightedness that you have, life would seem so much easier until its too late and then i cant change cause its too late
i hope you grow up some, soon, very soon

I know what your saying, but hes 55 and perfectly fine, has alot of money to support himself and who ever, till he dies not trying to brag but he started saving since he was 12, has bought 6 brand new cars his whole life, not lease's, owned, and the rest were used has had 10 in total. Im the only boy so i sort of carry on the family name so. He did say i will be getting all of his stuff though. But im going to college this coming September for Auto Mechanics lol so that will be a good paying job for me i love working on cars so hopefully everything will work out.

sorry, i don't have a whole lot of respect for trust fund babies and the such. I see so many of them go and waste something that some one else worked hard for.

Just saying my well earned .02

I'd buy the 1.8 brakes.. probably one of the best investments to go with. Stopping is pretty useful

Most of us do

I would save and get a torsen, or at lease a 1.8 open diff that you can later do an rx7 swap with. Im surprised your stock diff is holding up with the power.

If not, ide do the 1.8 breaks, with some appropriate pads.
