how about you pay someone to build your subie instead of making it just like your miata?
I think it would be bad effin a$$ if you built your fxt to like 500-600. seriously |
For you I would definitely stay away from highly tuned subarus. I love them but not the most durable platform for really big power.
Just get an M5 with the manual(SMG sucks). You will need to have the ecu upgraded by the dealer so you can turn off the traction control. v10 sounds awesome at 8k but don't expect to run away from c6zo6s |

Any year to go for? Regarding subie, i am going to just go for 350/400 to the wheel. |

As for for how tunable, very good but you will pay for it-mostly ESS or G power supercharger systems up to 8-900hp or something. Fair reliability You can pay Dinan 32K for a built stroker motor that revs to 9K and makes like 700hp NA or something I think the manual came out in 08 or 9 don't remember On second thought, Fae just needs to bleach his ------- and get some of his rich old johns to spring for an underground racing Gallardo or Viper. 1500-1700hp on race gas. Those things are FAST. |

:giggle:
But then he's pretty much guarranteed to die in any one of the cars being suggested to him anyway, lol. Twin turbo viper? Twin turbo lambo? Over 1000hp? Really? LOL Also unless its OEM with warrantee or backed by a serious aftermarket company who will install the setup for him and service it, he's pretty much guarranteed to have another broken car too. Miata is hands down one of the easiest/simplest cars out there compared to other jap/euro, and he managed to have his down for the past 2 years |
Min: get a turbo Busa:D

Yup, pretty much.

Well i just killed my subaru. I hear bottom end noise and turbo is making bad sounds.
I am considering building the motor but i may cash out and be done with the subarus. Yes the tune was safe. I think the motor ran low on oil and with the new suspension i could corner a lot harder and put down the power in the turns. That plus too little oil = blah. My miata was super reliable and a fantasic worry free purchase for 4 years until i turboed it. I will take that as a lesson. I have done well for myself getting a decent job and income. I shouldnt have to make myself worry about or deal with this shiz. Blech |

Do yourself a favor: buy something that's fast from the factory and still under warrantee. DO NOT TOUCH anything on it. Just drive it. |

^ I'd rather be in the 'slow' M5 than in that To be honest, the interior isn't that bad. I went from a B5 S4 to the C5 interior and there were some transitional pains but I got over them quickly. The interior in the C6 Z06 parked next to the C5 is, I daresay, worse. |
