Default What are you doing at work right now?

I'm crashing a night shift for overtime. Thank god! Hours have been like 36 a week and I used to get 50-60 whenever i wanted.

Anyways, crashing down a 24oz. MONSTER, and persevering on.

1. There are no Hot chicks in this hospital. All old and worse-> FAT.

2. They may be trying to block my miata sites. some filter thing keeps popping up.

3. I'm trying to survive on monster, deer jerky, ostrich jerky and some pickel chips I traded a nurse some jerky for. I don't seem to be nausous yet.

I still have like 4 sticks of jerky on the table.

I actually bought over $900 worth of jerky for $217.00. it had expired the sell date. Whatever, jerky doesn't expire in one day. LOL

I smiled all the way home on that deal. The ranchers used to travel 3 months across country with the junk in barrels and leather sacks. This stuff is plastic vaccum sealed. It isn't bad. me and my friends have been chowing for a week, all smiles.

In the deal it was actually exotic jerky's. i got like 500 sticks of various, kangaroo, ostrich, pheasent, alligator, antelope, Buffalo, etc. with others.

We always eat beef, chicken fish, pork here in the US. I like to try new foods when I go new places. I think it broadens you.

Different places eat different meats on the norm...... It is nice to see what other meats, we normally don't have available, taste like.

These jerkies aren't really and good choice for that since they have beef mixed in with them, along with a tone of seasoning.

But atleast i know what the other jerkies taste like.

Yea, I will eat almost any kind of meat. And no i don't want to try dog or cat. Even though my Viet. friend say it is good. LOL

As you can tell I'm a hunter and will try just about any game that is clean.

Thats a bunch of ******* jerky! I need to get another couple of deer loins from my friend and make some deer jerky. Last batch I made, which was way too long ago was kick ***. Soaked the little strips in my secret mix of sauces and seasonings then hung each piece on toothpicks (LONG JOB!) and hung those on my over racks and let them sit overnight on the lowest setting. The ends of the jerky with the thin tips got slightly crispy, which was the best parts. Seems like only 2 small loins made like 3 gallon zipper bags FULL of jerky. This time I'm going for a super batch, maybe 4 or 5 loins.

Game meat > Most store bought beef, pork and chicken

Also on this topic, the best piece of meat I have EVER had was a deer loin cooked in the pressure cooker like a roast. My god it had the perfect flavor and was fall apart on your fork tender. i will do another one of those too if I can find the loins. I guess I could just go get my own, but I'm too lazy to go hunting these days.

Yapping at a state about how they can't rip me off and describing that I teach the policy, not the loop-hole. Basically, trying to save the tax payer some money.

Trying to figure out how the hell one of my guys got a forklift stuck in a ditch. They are 35-45 and I feel like I am a babysitter that can't ever take his eyes off the kids.

I'm on a break from Arabic class, counting down the days until I take our final DLPT and start getting some extra cash for mods!

Updating an IBM BladeCenter chassis and a bunch of blades. There are a lot of firmware updates to do just for the chassis. IBM's website is being slow as **** right now too!

Wheee.

After two weeks of mid semester exams (round two for most classes) I am enjoying a lax day at the house.

I should have gone to work to pick up a few hours...but instead hung out with my daughter this morning. She's been "helping" me turn wrenches...and we just wrapped up my coolant reroute. Pretty good day.

About to chow and get back to the books.

Met with my UPS rep this morning and talked some things over about my account. Now I'm setting up an account on freightquote.com to start shipping some larger items. So far the shipping department of things is the hardest part of getting this business off the ground. Almost there though.

Next in line is finish my logo and have my business cards made up and finalize my contract and invoices. I plan on taking a break at some point today though to make the ceiling cat for my gf.

I'm following a lowboy tractor-trailer transport carrying a road milling machine out to a jobsite. My customer is going to eat up some asphalt roadway with it for a couple of days.

If I spent any time in the office, I'd want a ceiling kitty, too. It looks computer generated. I'd like to know how to make one for the wife to take to work if you can direct me to where to find info on making one. Vielen Danke.
