Caterham Levante redlines at 10,000 rpm.

 

Yeah, I used to really admire the S2000 when it first came out for that. Kind of got overhyped by the fan bois though, to the point even it couldn't live up to the hype. Instead of everyone appreciating it for what it was, they were disappointed it didn't smoke Corvettes and Lambos.



Damnit, you got me there. Still a fine motor in a fine car.

 

My rx8 stock had fuel cut at 9500rpm.

When I tuned it, it made an extra 10hp up top by increasing rev limiter to 10k.

However, the actual rotor is only spinning 1/3 the speed of the actual eccentric shaft. So actual engine rpm is closer to 3000rpms.
