Both my sisters got their pilots license before they even had their drivers license. They both married Pilots. Most of my uncles fly. Grandfather flew planes in WWII. I was sure I was going to be a pilot but for some reason I lost interest.

I get to fly quite a bit. Doing it as part of your job is the way to go.

It was nearly flawless. I actually impressed my examiner, whom BTW, is also a retired Air Force Col. It's a great feeling to finally have my license. I'm starting on my high-performance & complex endorsements after Christmas.

You should buy my old Mooney. It's for sale cheap. I sold it about seven years ago and the guy doesn't fly it much. He just redid the panel and all new leather interior. It's sweet. Cheap way to get complex time and IFR ticket. Won't meet HP endorsement, though. It's a 180hp M20A. Wood wing. Fast for it's power. True speed 145kts @ 9gph. Probably pick it up for VERY low 30's.

Man, I'd love to have it. Mooney's are awesome. The prob is $$$, I'm in college and broke. Paying for tuition and flight labs is killer expensive.
