Test and Post Your Internet Download Speed
Johndoe's questions about internet service providers provoked this.
Pick a server from the list and see who has the fastest download and upload speeds. Post your results, your provider and type (DSL, Cable, Dialup, Satellite, Wireless). Sometimes the closest server to you will be the fastest for you but not always.

Mine are-
Download: 24453 kbps
Upload: 1940 kbps
On Brighthouse (RoadRunner) cable modem through Atlanta

Funny, my first ever customer service experience was with them today. Stoned as can be, took in my box that suddenly stopped working and I swear in about 2 minutes I had a new one and I was out the door.
