I've been browsing around honda-tech lately trying to rekindle what used to be a strong relationship with our Integra. I've always known throwing a turbo on a honda engine produced big numbers for fairly low boost levels, but then I found this:
Stock GSR turbo 444whp/317tq, 57trim, E85, 175k miles

And I thought Paul was pimpin for turboing his high mileage NA. This **** is just nuts.

 

Oh hey that's Miles. He drives the **** out of that thing. He's at the drag strip almost every weekend. Car runs STRONG.

 

Well, not running strong anymore =P If you check out the second to last page he's down 2 cyls. Supposedly a mistaken 3-2 shift over-revved and slammed a few valves.

 

No one said honda motors are fragile

 

he also has a built head. thats not exactly hurting his reliability lol.....If he was in jersey that car woulda been stolen by now lol

 

same here. the first 10 minutes that car would have driven out of the shop it would have gotten stolen

 

It's not the motors, it's the fragile transmissions and weaksauce crap-*** CVs.
