gearing has much to do w/ any race. truth is, we could get all scientific about it and figure out mathematically exactly who would win "in theory" but until we line up and run 'em, we won't know.

My friend used to have a mk iii and put down 520rwhp with stock internals. He lost traction in 5th at 100mph, so I think his traction may be a problem. Course, now he built up a mk iv for drag and it's putting down 1200rwhp before he finished with his mods.

Interested to see how it turns out.

 

If the mods weren't finished yet, how did you know he put down 1200hp?? But of course we all have a friend with a 1200hp Supra....

He's the one in the black hoodie that comes in halfway through. I wish I knew where his build pics were cuz he had a picture of a CD inside his downpipe. I believe it was 6" intake piping to the TB too.
