Default why do posts get deleted on mnet?

Well.. figured what happened at mnet was a total BS, I'm gonna vent here! If you don't like a 24yr old kid complaining about other Miata's, please do NOT read this

long story short, I was in my IS300 with couple mods (2jz-gte swap, getrag 6spd, couple more power upgrades) driving to SF from San Mateo. Smurf Blue Miata (will not go into details since my intention is not to make that drivers day and visit to the forum bad) tail gates me. Down shift b4 a tight s corner, and is behind me by about 12" at most. I am 24 and prefer juvie over prison so I just ignore the guy. At the exit, he stops right next to me and yells "dude you got a 30K car but it's still slow both on straight and turns". Yes I do down shift b4 corners instead of just using my brakes. My exhaust is greddy evo so it is pretty loud with 3" custom cat back. No, I did not even try go through turns fast. I had my TCS and VSC on.

Driver looked to be in his mid 20's. He dumps his clutch, probaby went up to rev limit on 2nd gear at 25mph road while there are WHOLE BUNCH of drunk people out there. (Friday night at SF downtown can be hectic)

That's pretty much the whole story. I got a LOT of response from Cali forum people and it was entertaining. (and a name of potential guy who was driving the car) At the end of the post, I said "I will be more than happy to race with you on my IS300. Drag or course. As long as it is LEGAL to race"

Next day, the entire thread gets deleted? There are 3 things that could have happened imo

1. Mods are total Miata freak and thinks Miata is the only sports car out there. Maybe he couldn't resist seeing Miata beat in any situation. (I can probably out run 98% of NA's out there on circuits or drag strips.... the 2%... well... you guys are too good!!! )
2. Maybe it was against the rules to request a race at circuit or drag strip?
3. Maybe it was the mod himself that tailgated me for a mile and acted like a 15year old kid with too much pride?

Don't get me wrong.. I love my '90 Miata with 209K miles to the chasis. Though my target for an IS was to have a semi luxury cruiser with enough power to cruise with M5's. I doubt there are any Miata's that cruise without worrying about flying at 170mph. At the same time, there are virtually no IS out there with weight less than 2300lbs. Weight is the key to tight and narrow courses (like autox). I've taken my IS300 few times to an Autox and never was able to beat Miata's. That's why I got one. (and fell in love to go FI w/in next 3 weeks)

Ok... so the post dragged on... but my main question is.. why was my thread deleted? There are NOTHING illegal except what that Miata did in that post. My IS is registered in WA and past sniff test so it is legal to drive. I did not engage in street racing nor did anything illegal. I offered to race fair on track or drag strip with nothing to bet.

Oh for the side note if YOU are reading this, my IS300 is a sports design with full option which was $39,000.00 after taxes and etc. the motor and tranny swap was around $11K. TD06 and other misc parts for another $10K. Exterior and interior mods were around $7K total. Suspension was maybe $8K including 2 sets of wheels.
I am selling the car on early August for $45~$50K which is going straight to downpayment for my future condo or house. It's good that you like your NA, because I do too. Just don't mess around with other people on the road. I'm still up for a race if you want to go to a track. I'm not pist or anything.. I love my Lexus as much as I love my Miata and would definately be an interesting day to talk about in the future. Just throw away your ego because my ego got crushed at autox events because of Miata's

Ummm yes, there are Miata's capable of cruising at 170... I just don't really want to try it. Unfortunately I probably have more money wrapped up in my Miata than you do in your IS. How wrong is that!

PS- Your thread was deleted because the owner of M-Net is a bit ---- retentive.

I thought about deleting this post just for the irony.

Dont feel bad half my posts over there get deleted, in a freking local thread where a bunch of us local guys keep in touch....I've offered free parts to them when they've asked if anyone had any, and got posts delted, them i get a PM saying I can add my **** to the dumpster if I'd like...
