That prop is a gun designed by someone who knows nothing about real weapons.

Its almost a good thing he never listened to his generals.

The world would be a much different place had Hitler actually listened to advisers. Thank god for a Heisenberg sized ego, if you know what I mean.

I so lust for a StG44.. GSG Makes a .22lr StG-44 replica but it's like $600!!!!

I like GSG though, so it might be worth it!

I love large calibers, but realistically .22 is more practical for budget, its also very underestimated as a deadly round.

I really enjoy shooting my Sig rebranded GSG 1911/22. Has done a few hundred rounds reliably for me so far.

did you just buy the slide kit? Or was it just a whole GSG branded handgun?

They sell an entire 1911 (in .22). Weight is close to my STI Spartan, trigger isn't bad, frame fully slides, is reasonably accurate. It looks like a 1911 in all components, even breaking it down is close. There is an extra bolt/push pin to remove, but thats because its a fixed barrel.

The cheap used price I paid was WELL worth it.

Yikes, that rail looks terrible. I don't mind railed 1911's but it to be integrated neatly to look good.

Otherwise, looks good. I loved my 1911 Marvel Unit 2 .22...just fun to shoot .22 out of that platform.

This thing is cheaper than a .22 top end for a 1911 and functions identically. Mine is used and scratched... who cares about looks, I want it to shoot.

Oh and mine does not have the rail, that was a more recent model for the tacticool kids. Mine just looks like a plain ole 1911.
