Local gun shop has an M&P 9 Pro. Brb, clinging to guns and religion.

 

S&W M&P9L with six magazines. Like the standard M&P but with a 5" barrel and light trigger.
I was getting pretty close to a 9mm Beretta, then I saw this in the used case and scooped it up with the mags for $500.

 

Nice. And you've even got a place to attach that tacticool fleshlight you've always wanted.

Dammit... trade me for my 4.25 Pro.. I don't think the 9L has the light trigger btw (unless aftermarket). I think that came on the 5" Pro which has fiber front sight and lightened trigger?

I really enjoy my Marlin 795 with Boyd thumbhole stock and Techsights.
Paid 100 for it after rebate (+stock/sights cost). Tack driver for cheap.

 

I believe it's the same trigger as the "pro", the guy in the shop agrees. Well, its lighter than the M&P9, and feels almost idential to the M&P40 Pro

I'm not paranoid at all. I don't prep. I have a small first aid kit that I keep in my truck with an assortment of guns and knives.

 

Any thoughts on cheap furry lined "gun rags"?

 

Good for transport to and from the range, but I wouldn't use them for storage. Here in CA they take transportation pretty seriously so I use a locking SKB hardcase for transport in the cab of the truck. I'll rag them in my range bag and keep it in the trunk if I'm driving the Miata.

 

Do you think bank robbers and murders lock their guns in the trunk to and from the job?

For now I'm going to throw my **** in a backpack using the plastic/foam case that came with the gun.
