If you show your CCW permit here, they skip the NICS call. I can fill out a 4473 and hand the guy cash within 3 minutes.

Same in Kansas. One of the few good things about this state.. Oh, and no regulations against NFA items..

Yeah I do, but the state gets it out of you in different ways.

Btw, I just paid $2.89/gallon for 87 octane gasoline.

To be honest most do it for free. No real insurance per say. More of a bro system. They'll watch your stuff while your gone and you watch over theirs when they have to take off. I used to even clean my buddies guns when they left to make sure it didn't rust up under my watch and before they got home so they could just go fire. Trust me though, if you work in a career that is firearm heavy make friends with the armorers and CATM. I took better care of friends guns in the armory than the commanders. I have no respect for a "combat leader" that can't even clean his own gun.
