Yet Another Gun Thread
Seems like perfect bang for the buck fit for me and allows simple use of 9mm which i reload (well... i have all the tools to reload... just lazy).

Today's decree by the Black Panthers to engage in race-war against whites (in retaliation for lantino-black killing) really drove the point home that I need a carry piece. I'm probably just getting a M&P9c. Thoughts? Its it retarded to have two sister guns in the house? I really want something cool/expensive like a 1911.

I like the idea of it for sharing mags and general comfort, but I also like a little variety in my life. I suppose the M&P9L can be my range gun and the compact can be my carry piece and comprise the functional side of my arsenal, then get the fancy ----. I still need to get an AR.
Right. I'd want a 9mm 1911 because of my limp wrists. Wife would probably only let me get one gun so it'd probably be something nicer/more $ like that STI than something more affordable & intro like Rock Island's 1911.
Don't forget that the Spartan is made mostly in the Philippines by Armscore, but finishing assembly and internals are supposed to be in house STI.
Be like Zimmerman and use a PF9 (or did he have the P11?). I know it was a Keltec 9MM that shot hoodie man.
BTW, I couldn't stand it any longer. I just placed my order for a Ruger SR22 pistol. Paid $317 + $15 for my FFL. I'll end up selling my P22 (maybe) after I get into some cool battle tree contests. I built one the other day but have not had a chance to use it with a pistol.

I was not impressed with the finish/wearing on my B-I-L's low hour Beretta M9A1 (but I did enjoy shooting it much more than his Glock). The black ox or Melonite, whatever, was pitting on the slide. Just a little, but I didn't think it should be there for a name-brand ~$700 gun.
Purchasing an inexpensive handgun and making it pretty inside may be an appealing project.
Really? Aren't the rock islands made by armscore too? Interesting...

Not sure if anyone else here carries a .32 for CCW but Wideners has a fantastic closeout deal on 32acp ammo right now. If you buy 600 rounds the price drops to $10/box. That is about 33% cheaper than I have seen it anywhere else. I just got 30 boxes of it ($320 shipped) and probably should have picked up more since I sell ammo now and then for some quick cash...

Finally starting to have some confidence in my setup - after several gunshops failed at scope mounts/rings, I got my own and put them on. After shooting several dissapointing 2" groups at 50 yards, I switched to some decent ammunition. The result: I'm now putting rounds through the same hole.
