The RX8 is hands down an awesome car. I almost signed the papers for an early model one about 2 years ago for a daily driver, but the gas mileage killed it for me.

Those were fun videos. I liked the commentary.

I almost bought an RX8 instead of a miata. I really liked the interior and the power was "enough" at the time. Stock, the RX8 handled better than my modified Miata. It's just really easy to drive really well. The car communicates very very well and it gives a great feeling of control. Yes, it does slow down a great deal if you put another person it it but the car is still very fun to drive.

Unfortunately she only wants an automatic.

Well now here's a question. There are 2 that she is interested in. Both 2004, both automatics, both for $13k. One has 12k miles and the other has 40k. In this case would it be safe to say the 40k one might be a better bet seeing it was actually driven?

She said she needs something ASAP (seeing the rental is now on her dime), and if she doesn't get an RX8.....what else is there? lol

I already tried talking her into a LGT.....but they have 4 doors.

used mini cooper s are in that price range.

RX8 great track cars, I'm not sure I could daily one. My friends MSM with B/C at 9 psi and CS exhaust, killed a friends R3 package Rx8 on a roll.

Buy an RX8 if you want an incredibly unreliable turd thats broken all the time, gets horrid mileage, and is slow as ****. I know at least 10 mazda mechanics that'd die before they would own one, and several mazda mechanics who can't even seem to keep a regular 13b running.

Did I mention they're turds? If anything ever deserved an LSx swap, its RX8s.

We looked at the cooper S but she didn't like them. Neither did I after I took a look at the joke of an interior.

I just got off the phone with her and she said she thinks the RX8 is out and shes gonna ask for her deposit back.
