Walking up to it I had no idea. After I looked at it from a distance, the A-pillar gives it away... but up close, it didn't sink in until I saw the radio surround and went "Huh?" The guy went out of his way on the interior to actually make it look like a race-car. The fit and finish on the kit was great, and the paint was perfect. It had an FMII w/Hydra pushing 220whp@10psi. The guy didn't know what turbo it was or even what kind of tires were on it (even though he built it), but he moved it around the track pretty good.
It's not my thing, but I think with a little more execution on the interior and some tweaking to the shape of the rear, it's actually a decent looking kit.

Yup, LCAC (Landing Craft Air Cushion). Little Creek ACU-4 is a great facility. Pit Crew was just some random guy. The owner was about 30 as far as I could guess.
