I like that route. I work right off of 66/17 in portland now. I took some of those roads to go to RI to pick up my tranny...nice ride.

The only thing is there arent great places to take pics at either gillettes or devils hopyard. If we swing over the bridge like you guys did last time tho there are some areas around the ferry where we can get along the coast I think.

 

Insted of going towards the bridge let's head towards old saybrooke

 

go to my parents house? HAHA. there are actually a lot of good places down in saybrook to take pics I think. Id love to swing down into the golf course and take pics but that might **** people off.

We will start somewhere... middletown maybe? ... cruise down to east hadam/ lyme/ old lyme area and go by the castle..... go down to old saybrook.... stop and take pics somewhere, drive up through essex or somewhere and back up to middletown

Once we get to old saybrook we can head down on rt1 and eat at this sea food place I forgot the name, it's right next to that tiny bridge on rt1

We can stick closer to old saybrook and go to Jonny Ads. Right off of Rt 1, good seafood / burgers, outside seating.

Yeah I think that's the place, you can sit outside right next to the water. The earlier we meet the better that way I don't have to rush to go home to go to work

yeah Bills is nice and all but its another 10 minutes past saybrook AND you can dream on when it comes to not waiting forever for a table. that place is always packed.

Its a long route. We dont have to stop at the castle, or even stop in otter cove in Old Saybrook. I figure we can grab food somewhere on rt 1... probably jonny ads

I am fine with starting somewhere else too.

Ignore the small blip on rt 154 that goes to 148...There is construction there still i think.

 

Sounds good to me, What time do you guys want to meet up? Personally I would prefer later but if I can't make it out there when you start I can figure something out. I'll be taking pics if we stop for em or not, rolling shots ftw!
