I drove down and saw CTdrfters car yesterday. I WANT.

The fab and overall crazyness of his setup makes me want to turn my car into a non-street beast.

mine went on my way back to my friends house from the car show in new Britain. luckily i was on his street when it went so i was about to get it to his house.

 

big cruise Saturday night this weekend starting from the I84 exit 8 micky ds at 9:30.

 

Son of bitch! Thats like a 5 minute walk from my house. Too bad my car is out of commission right now or else I would come down.

so anyone around here good with the DIYPNP i built mine but i want some one to look over it to make sure i did everything right on it.

 

I think the new rearend is broken too... FML

 

So lets go yank one out of a car in the junk yard... at least it will get you back on the road.

if you just need the actual diff part (not the ring and pinion) i have the stock spider gear unit sitting around for the 1.8L

I know man this sucks! Tommorrow I think I'm gonna head over my parents house and open the diff and take a look at it.

is that really what you need? It is the part that bolts to the ring gear.

Im pretty sure thats what it is...I doubt it would be anything else, I couldn't take it appart today since it was raining but wednesday I will and I'll most likely come pick yours up....How can I tell what is broken on mine?

 

If you had more go you would have had fluid all over the place when the gears fell apart and punched a hole in your diff. You would definitely know if you had worse breakage.
