My car is broken... major ecu resets in megasquirt. I doubt I will figure it out before dyno day on the 24th...

That being said, there may be a few slots open. I will know by the end of this week

The dyno day is held by me (uconn car club) and is the 24th of Oct at Swift motorsports.

Like I said, I will know if spots are available by the end of the week.

I would love to meet up, but my POS is always breaking

can't make the 24th unless the weather sucks... hoping to go racing at new england dragway

10/17 = mustang showdown. lots of fast cars so the track will be prepped very well. only downside is that this event is usually packed, so you wont get that many runs.

10/24 = import wars. this event was pretty empty last year, i made about 20 passes and could have made more! downsides are mediocre track prep and ricers doing top fuel burnouts with street tires, dragging water all over the place. if you like to laugh at broken civics, this is the event to attend.

i would love for someone to come with a camera and/or video camera, i'm hoping to crack 11's...

So just looked at and decided to rent my workspace. 450sqf so plenty of room to get some work done. If anyone needs to do some work just let me know and we can work something out.

Is it just a empty place or is there machines, welders, tools, etc.?

I have most of the basic tools. No welders or machines. Got some issues right now with power so it's pretty much useless for work right now :/

Once power comes back there will be a nice sized compressor, heat, plenty of light, and lots tools.

Would you guys be interested in really putting something (s) together? I came from oahu and we had miata meets almost every month. It was a really good time and there are only half the roads and twice the traffic. I am working on getting my car sorted over the next month or so and would love to take it out for a drive with some other miata's.

CT people are always all talk and no meet... In the five years I had my miata I've met one person from CT and about 30 from other states like TX, VA, NJ, DE, PA, RI. I'm always down for a meet once spring comes tho. And the the hell is Oahu?

Oahu is the most populated island in the hawaiian island chain. I would be down for a car show...my car isn't show quality but I will check it out. I think April would be a good time to have a meet.

Trust me the majority of the cars at the Uconn Car Show arent "show worthy". its more like a 600 car get together. It would be really cool to see a big miata crowd there this year.

How bout NO on the trip to on track ....I live like a mile away so it wouldn't be much of a cruise for me. Weather permitting I'll go to the uconn show.

On another note, anyone know where I can pick up a set of doors CHEAP? Now that I have a hardtop, if I can get some doors with windows I'll be able to drive my car more this year since I won't have to worry about the weather....

Haha i was thinking karting cause its more of a winter thing. My miata wont see the road till sometime in march and even then i gotta do some work to it before it will be out on any cruises.

Uconn car show will have a rain date this year btw

Doors? Have you tried junk yards? There are a few reasonable ones. I can find out which one I got my audi front end from if you want.
