Like the title says. I'm planning on doing my first track day on the 20th. Should I pay for one on one instruction? Or will one (or more) of you guys ride with me and give me pointers.

I understand the benefits of instruction, but the wife is in a constant state of pissed with how much $$ I spend on my hobbies. So if guys from advanced groups ride with beginners like they do at autox, I'll save the extra $60 and buy the wife something.
