You take a WOT log in 3rd+ gear. Input your gear ratios and car weight (if different than stock). In virtual dyno theres preset settings to compensate for the aerodynamics for cars (gotta select miata specifically). From there you simply add the log to the virtual dyno and it does the rest.

and heres one log to give you some practice.

I posted a link to the thread at Windy City Miata Club forums. They have a fairly large number of FI Miatas so it would be cool to see how much power they are really putting down.

Two comments. First, I am really happy to see Dan (frog car) will be joining us. It is supercharged and megasquirted and he does all his own work and it looks like pretty high quality. Super nice guy, very humble.

Second, every time I see the name Lordrigamus I read it as Lord Ignoramus. I JUST NOW realized that it doesn't actually say that.

Agreed. I'm pretty excited about this. I wish it wasn't going to be so damned cold though.

I am not the one running this event but personally my opinion is that we do pre-registered pulls followed by people being tuned. If we have time, we go off waiting list?

Waiting list being "Maybes" and "Other Than Miatas."

Does that sound reasonable?

I'm going to need someone to teach me things like how to setup MAT correction and pwm settings. Every time I get a tune somewhat dialed in on the car, the second the temp changes 5 degrees it's super rich or super lean. I just need like someone to actually show me where these things are compensated for etc. Generally I just poke around on here and see other peoples settings and base my stuff off theirs. But I'm not actually understanding the changes being made.

Plus, i dunno if any of you have managed to get shadow dash to work on your phones, but I can't seem too.

Mat correction is pain in the *** to tune mainly because you gotta tune it over multiple days and i'm talking as the seasons change. Get your afr at cruise perfect.. hell even write down what they are on a piece of note

Then write down what temps are tuned. As the seasons change you'll tune the cooler mats and then the hotter mats etc.
