CHICAGOLAND DYNO DAY -- SUN OCT 20th
Thanks to all that were involved for making this event such a success. It was great to put a face to all the names on the forums. I went home with ideas that my wallet cannot cash at the moment. Thanks 1999Monster!
I want to drive the car that those ITBs are going into...
it was fun to meet you guys, great event. I was a little disappointed with 236 whp. i wanted a number around 190whp so that I would have more headroom and could push for 250. the car does not feel fest enough but I guess its been reliable on the track and that is more important than power.
No kidding. You're not even a half hour from here. We'll have to hang out and see if we can break some **** so we can build it up better! LOL!
My first time on the Dyno, and much higher than I expected. I was expecting to put down somewhere around 140. The good news is that my logs show I'm not a total idiot with Megasquirt.
Plans for winter include new clutch, 3" exhaust, and putting the 1.8 diff that's been sitting in my basement for 6 months onto my car. Hoping to hit at least 200 when we do this in the spring.

Second time dynoing. My numbers were a little lower then what I was expecting. But I feel like the numbers reflected my ****-poor ability to tune on my own. With an actual tune I think I could have ballparked another 20hp.
How the heck did that happen Atanas?
Side note, you guys up for getting together for a drive/tour? Recently I did a drive from Elgin to Galena, then to Dubuque Iowa, down the Mississippi river to Savannah IL and then back home. It took about six hours but the driving was great with plenty of twisty roads and plenty of open roads for passing and pulls. I'd be willing to lead it later this year (if the weather holds) or sometime in the spring.
It's a long drive but worth it in my opinion.

I don't want to derail the thread so I created another...
