2.536 60'
14.474 1/4mi.
101.77 mph
Stock motor, was running MS-1 parallel with CAS retrofit, 7psi, stock clutch (this is why the 60' was so bad).
Now running MS-2 standalone. Next drag slip will be after compressor wheel upgrade, clutch upgrade, 460cc injector swap, and EBC. I am hoping to go from 14's, skip right over the 13's and run like a 12.8 with a much better 60'.

I never fully understood how trap speed goes with ET. Now I know trap speed is an indicator of horsepower, but in your case if you're not spinning what else is factoring into it? I know that your 60' is in the 2.0 range and that's where a lot of your ET comes from, but is it simply because of your powerband? Or if you where to launch with a 2 step building boost off the line would that greatly improve your ET's?

Trap speed is more a reflection of the cars power. ET is a combination of everything with the launch being the biggest factor.
For example, miata2fast doesn't have a very powerful car and that's reflected in his trap speed of 96 mph. Yet he runs a good ET for his power level because he's able to launch the car hard and get it to stick with his choice of tires. Perfect example of a slow car being fast because of tires and a good driver that can maximize the package.
My car is just setup differently and I drive it differently. I have a powerful car and that's reflected in the 120+ trap speed. So for me, I run a slow ET for my power level because I don't launch and shift the car hard. Perfect example of a fast car being driven slow because if I launch and shift it hard things break.
