I should have my G2X by then. I called today after seven weeks (they told me two) and they said, "oh yeah, it's been ready for a while." Good thing they only wanted $35 to fix it.
There is a more sinister problem. My daily needs an inspection sticker and it's failing and now in the state system so I'm a little worried. This makes my numbered-up track car the daily for a while so I may end up cancelling on this event. If I broke the car, I'd be really screwed.

Bullshit, if you broke what? Just like you told that guy from the east coast, whatever you break we have the parts to fix it. Hell I have an entire running car that we could cannibalize if needed. Don't bow out, you'll hate yourself in the morning.

It don't work like that. Stay positive
Speaking of poz loads, you hear about that guy they cured of aids and leukemia in one shot?
Yeah, full blown not the HIV and cancer of the blood. Pretty amazing.

You know you are right. I was using the CORRECTED, competition weight wt/pwr ratio per the NASA rules which is not valid for this comparison.
My car ~7.5:1
Jake's car ~8.4:1 (but still a very nice number)
It looks like San Marcos is getting a lot of rain right now so that should significantly reduce the fire risk at H2R. It is amazing sometimes how quickly mowed field grass will green up once it gets some water.

ANYONE know of a hotel or bar in San Marcos that has SpeedTV? For those who will be there Saturday evening, the goal is to get together to watch the Bathurst 1000 at 7 pm (big Australian V8 Supercar race). I have tried three or four hotels in the area and none of them have it. I pinged Phillip at H2R but did not get a reply yet.
There is always the chance that it could be streamed onto a laptop presuming there is a live webcast. That will depend on how good the internet access is at whatever hotel I/we are staying at.
