That's pretty much the plan at this point. Megasquirt is being worked on at home in evenings though, whereas car is at friend's shop and I can only work on it when he is there, which is weekends and till 6:30pm weekdays (unless I take a day off of work).

Plus putting in rear control arm bushings and hopefully diff bushings on Saturday.

I'm late to the party, but I might be free to come BS and drink beer for a while. You can all laugh at my measly 1.6 and MS1.

You and i should race. 1.6 + MS vs 1.8 + stock ECU.

Looks like the weather for Friday 13th will be decent with a high of 50. I hope it doesn't change!
We are planning on strapping my car up Thursday evening and start tuning Friday at 8am.

Oh she doesn't care about that, it's more of a "How tired will she be after her 70 hour week?" type of deal, and still has to work on Saturday. I almost feel bad, because.... i worked 24 hours this week and am getting two three-day weekends in a row. :giggle:

My car is on the dyno and ready to go, harold and i spent most of the day messing with the flex fuel sensor, looks like he will be tuning on gas only tomorrow the flex fuel sensor is jumping all over the plase on gas 😣 could have purchased a lot of race gas for what he has on that dam thing

So far my measly 1.6 pulled 243hp at 11.5psi!

I just got home! Rained about 1/2 of my drive but once it cleared up I ran my car through a "battery of test situations."

I think I figured out why my car was acting strangely on the way to the BBQ place: My stock ECU was still controlling the EGR valve and with it not even seeing the coolant sensor it likely was opening it in order to warm my engine up...

Once I diconnected the EGR valve plug things went much better. Unfortunately this is after Scott left my vehicle to work on Harold's car. Did he figure it out by the way?

By the way, I made about 225lb/ft and 230 something HP. I'll post logs and a video later.

I hope that you keep him and other Megasquirt knolagable tunners providing this invaluable service to your customers, it was without a doubt the best money spent on my build it saved me from having to get another set of pistons.

Harold, how is the car now that the roads have dried out? I bet it's nuts!

Did not drive it on dry roads yet, have to put the rivals on it later today and take it out, did not have it past 5psi on the wet roads LOL

My car may have 243hp but it's still a 1.6l and it doesn't get wild or spin the tires in 2nd. Maybe is my suspension and tires combo. Anyhow, should be easy to autocross!

Brian, can you post a screenshot of your .drf and attach it here? I'm interested to see how it compares.

I'll figure out how to work my real camera (that was phone video) and we should all go back for an hour or two once the purple car is up and running so i can get a baseline dyno. Maybe i'll bring Crystal and she can take video of all of them. :)
