informal miata challenge @ tws trackday
I ended up having to leave town to work this afternoon.
Sorry I missed those of you that are making it.
Hustler...PM me the address that all the Dallas homos have memorized and I'll get that piece up to you.

I pussed out, too. I just spent a lot of money on some new mods, and I didn't want to risk ******' 'em all up when I go off the track in the rain.
Actually, the baby got sick and the wife took the day off. So, I had to stay home.
Well, maybe my contribution was hyping this event on the forums and getting more participation.
I'll be at TWS on November 21 & 22 if anyone is up for a do-over.

It would have been nice to make it, and I was holding out on the chance I would be able to pick my car up today. Even if I couldn't run I thought I might be able to come out to take photos. However my car wasn't painted because of the shitty weather. So on the negative I missed the event, but on the positive, I should have my freshly painted car on Monday or Tuesday.

every one was ether 1st or 2nd
and i found out i have been setting up my flexes wrong for 3.5 years. i have been going full soft then counting click instead of full stiff and counting. i just had the direction confused. the drive home had more grip on street tires then I've ever had on rcomps.

I ran full soft in the front all day! virtually no steering in the tight sections, used the hell out of my left foot just to make the car turn in. We definitely need more participation next time. 5 miatas at an event is a guaranteed top 2 finish. lol
So do they normally run the 2.9 mi circuit for these Friday events? Not to diminish what you guys ran, but the back half of the track is fun, especially turn 7 (at the end of the back straight running CCW).
I was very happy about running the short track, though, as I've always wanted to.
