Miata's don't need a Helmet, but must have the top up & windows up! Unless your very fast, under 8.59seconds. My fastest was 9.47 on a cool night.

 

4 runs last night, over 250 cars! WOW! Everyone did miss the last 2 weeks due to a FAIR! Never seen the 5 lanes filled to the back of the parking lot!

 

Missed last Thursday night due to replacing my factory Radiator with a Mitsu full Aluminum Rad.
&
Was at Irwindale Sunday watching Drifting Event! The officials said Thrusday 5May2011 is a Green Light. Aka it's on, subject to any cancellations. I'll be there!

 

Miata Owners! Come on! Let's have some Spring Fun! $20 and all the DRAGS you can enjoy! Come prepared by reading the rules, long pants & shoes required. No helmet unless your super fast!

FWIW my SCCA STS prepped 97 (near stock) can do high 9s at around 70 for the 1/8 mile during the NC Summer (hot & humid). Just over 2 second 60 foot times on all season tires.

 

Oh Come on now $20 for 5 hours of BUFFET 1/8 mile Drag Racing!!!!!!!!!
It's so much fun without stress! 9s and 10s for me! Cool afternoon racing 4-10pm
on Thursdays.

 

Did 3 runs at fontana saturday! 15.23 was the best... Darn 40mph head winds!
