Whatever shop we go with, we will prob need to prepay. I can collect the $ and pay the shop. Would have to be a nonrefundable deal or else things will fall to shi+ if someone cancels.

 

Once i get the confirmed count, i will call a few shops and see what the best deal they have to offer is. I wantto rent out the dyno, not judt do pulls. There is little point to strapping to a dyno if you cant tune and make adjustments.

 

May 11-12th is not good for me other then that I should be good. Or I'll just cancel any other plans I may have. I may also need to borrow a compression tester...

 

+1 for the JB weld. Without the oil pan off the oil from inside the pan could contaminate the weld. Get as clean as you can and use JB weld let it cure, then let it cure some more, add oil, check after up to temp. Win. Have beer.

I'm good for anything after May 14th as long as I have enough notice. What's more likely to knock me out is where it is. Anything more than an hour from Gaithersburg and I can't guarantee I can make it.
