If I told you all I spent was $6.50, would that make it better or worse?

Edit - Hustler I'll PM you those pics tomorrow.

Great to meet all of you guys! Thanks to Sav, crashncar, and snowboarder for the reach around and for the rides! I will have my car on laguna one day!

I'm guessing Sav had the fastest time of the weekend, but I don't know for sure. He had multiple 1:41.xx times......

I think Charles Ng in William's car got down to the 1:40.x range. I had a pair of 1:41.8s with a passenger. I'm not sure how fast Emilio went in that car (the Kraftwerks 949Racing supercharged NB) but he was a little faster than I was.

I've also reached the capacity of the 1.8 brakes. 210whp or so, a lot of aero, and fresh NT-01s. Upgrading to the Corrado setup.

The most fun I had all weekend was going toe to toe with Snowboarder late Saturday. Everyone else in the B group was just traffic, but Snow had me smilin' and driving as fast as my shitty Toyo T1R's could grip.

GREAT fun!

I only did a few laps on sticker A6's and was sorta relearning the course, car and tires. Been a while since I'd driven all three. I may have done a 1:40 but the datalogger stopped running so that's a guess. We pulled the intake restrictor out of the Rotrex for my runs and I think it started reaching the limits of the possibly tired stock fuel pump. It started hesitating exiting the slower turns and hadn't done that ever in the past.

I pulled into the pits and gave the car to Charles. His first time on A6's I think. Got the datalogger working again and get this, he did a 1:41 on his outlap. That's from a standing start right under the start finish lap. That was getting used to the tires which had way more grip than the nearly gone NT01's we ran all weekend, and also getting used to the extra 40-50 hp without the restrictor. 1st flying lap and its started cutting out and the datalogger wire pulled out then he caught traffic.

Pretty confident in saying that it had a high 1:38 or so in it with a regular flying start.

I was wondering why that damn red car was suddenly keeping its distance from me on the straights. I knew you were driving, but I was wondering how your driving had suddenly given the car 40whp You probably had a low 1:41 or a high 1:40 during those laps; I had a 1:41.8, my best time of the weekend, trying to chase you down while you slowly pulled away.

Wow, you guys were running on Hoosier A6's? Out of curiosity, how long do those last on a road course?

Your lines look much improved in that session. Be smooth and consistent and you'll be faster.

I don't think so. I was in group B, just happened to be on the other side of the track when you went out. My last session I ran through a group of 9 cars and up to William. We played follow the leader for a bit when he gave me the point by into T8. I returned the favor on the following lap to let oil temps come down a bit as they were @ 275 degrees.

It was a great event and I'm glad to have been a part of it.

the only person to pass me basically all weekend was FMs westfield. I was car 6, silver turbo NA. I didn't even see you on track 2/3rds.

FM Twincooler. The oil cooler tubes are too large so there is not enough surface area for the oil to contact inside of the tubes. It's a good system for mildly upgraded engines and/or cooler climates but for me, now, I'll need a dedicated oil cooler like a Setrab unit and radiator.

Remember when they grid cars, it was in 2 lines. Obviously I was in the opposite line you, Woolery and a few others were in. That said, I had 2 cars pass me that weekend, one was the Kraftwerks car and the other was Sav. In Sav's case, I got held up because we were both going through traffic @ the end of the session. The Kraftwerks Miata pass was explained in my original post.

This wasn't a race, but to infer that everyone else was just "traffic" was incorrect. FWIW, this is just my second time driving Laguna.
