This is Laurabeth, just wanted to say thanks again to Steve for hosting. We had so much fun. It was great to meet everyone. We'll all have to meet up again some time.

We had me fiance hayley as well buffon. So 2 chicks and like 8 guys=good times. Laurabeths ride sure is clean and everyone was super nice.

I'm really glad you came over. It was good to finally meet you.

I was also a little surprised at the low turnout but it actually worked out well because only cool people showed up. All of these guys and not one **** in the group.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really had a great time, too.

I'm glad we got to play "Lambs" before everyone else showed up on Friday. Not everybody is into that sort of thing.

You were a great help getting set up and then helping clean up at the end. I really appreciate you putting in the extra effort to help me. The Atlanta guys probably already know this, but if you need a help with anything Sean seemed always willing to offer assistance. Thank you.

I'm glad you came down, too. Don't be a stranger on this forum. Driving an EVO isn't a shameful act. Seriously, we have lots of discussions on theory and an open BS and Media section and would be happy to have you active here. Your girlfriend's Mazdaspeed Miata is sharp and certainly gives you reason to be here, and your good attitude and your involvement with many of the regulars on here means you should fit right in.

And just so everybody knows, his girlfriend is better at tubing behind a boat than any of the guys, lol.

It wouldn't have been nearly as good a meet without your fantastic butt. It was so delicious. So tender and so juicy. WonTon is a lucky man to get to take that home with him. If anybody here hasn't tried Troy's butt, it is really worth driving to Florida for it.

Seriously, thank you so much for bringing the smoker and doing the grilling. And for all of the extra work you put in to making the event successful. It really was like we had been friends for years. Everyone was genuinely nice and nobody was putting on a show. Is it having Miatas that causes people to be genuine, humble, and friendly or did we just get lucky? Maybe it is that Miataturbo weeds out the weenies pretty regularly. Whatever the reason, we all got along very well.

How is your foot? That was a pretty nasty little gash you had there. I hope the event was worth the drive up and back. I'm really happy I had a chance to meet you.

You aren't very far away, so the next time we do a little something in Tampa I'll let you know. We are also looking at going back up to Georgia in the fall for some mountain road action.

I had a great time. I'm glad the weather was good and the old boat only failed to crank once. I was expecting more pictures from our shutterbug but the roll of film mysteriously and accidentally came out of the camera after some particularly embarrassing photos were taken. What happens at the lake...

As for who is who in the pictures, I am the one in the orange tube top.

I'll be sure to give you guys a holler next time we are headed up there. I know I'll be going to the lake again before it gets cool and we'll probably be doing the mountain roads thing sometime in October with Gary and the GTR.

The only problem with that trip, was the low numbers of cars, with just 3 cars total. I was hoping to see more iron, but I did get a ride in P51's car. I was a little disappointed when Magna said he was low on nitrous. However, he redeemed himself with a bottle of Wild Turkey.

 

Despite my car acting like a pile because the down pipe broke, and the foot gash, and the long ride, and no sleep I had an absolute blast!! everyone was very true and real. which is a good trait in my book the Bud Light Queen really did blow that tube.... and hustlers **** sure was burnt on that grill I mean just look at it....



I didn't want to get to annoying with the camera I felt like I was already... ohh well next time I'll take more.

 

The tubing was so much fun! I haven't been in forever. I should post a picture of the massive bruise on my leg from it though!

Laurabeth, thanks for posting pictures. The best looking turbo Miata at the meet belonged to a girl. I think there is some sweet justice in that. And she was able to hang onto the tube behind the boat better than any of the boys. I love it.

And I really like your car.
