Myself and a few others are working to get a club started in the Myrtle Beach area. I dont know of anyone else on this site besides myself that is in the area, but I dont know everyone. Trying to get as much attention to the club as I can. Going to be doing a small preliminary meeting this Thursday 04/08/10.

 

Hey, talk about the MBSC. I noticed a while ago that there isn't a very active autocross calendar there, at least with the SCCA. Is there another club that puts on autocrosses? My parents live down there, Surfside Beach (think Wicked Stick) area, and it would be sweet to do a couple of autocrosses down there during winter vacation.

Nice spot. Good luck with the club. Maybe you want to advertise it on AARP instead of here?

 

There is one ever few weeks here, the closest clubs now are a few hours away.

 

i just moved up from my parents house in myrtle beach (only spent about a year there). i bought my car in little river.

i heard that they just had a huge miata rally with a wide range of events. it sounded like a blast.....so i hope to be able to make it next year.

 

Its called Miatas at Myrtle Beach. There is always a huge thread about it in the Southeast section on m.net. I think there was about 150 cars this year, and close to 300 last year.
