Default Someone in the Baltimore area want to help me out a bit??

So I got a fix it ticket the other day because of my tinted tails.....

I need to borrow a set of NB tail lights so I can go get the ticket written off!

Or, if anyone has some for sale, or has seen an NB in a junkyard that has a good set, it would help also,

i'm almost 99% sure they won't, but if NA lights will go in there for a short period of time and get you by I can send you a set for amount of shipping if ya send them back whenever you're done.

He's already got an NA.

Did this happen in Bel Air? I'm telling you, you need to move someplace more dangerous, that way the cops have better things to do.

Dang ,that's a ticketable offense? Srsly? You can still see your lights are on when you brake, right?

Worse comes to worse, you can always sand off the black, then respray. Or just sand it off and leave it off. Or maybe get a set of stockers and roll with those and switch to the tinted ones when you're feeling saucy. Just throwing out options.

yeah it happened in Bel Air at 2am saturday night..... The lights work fine, it's just that when a cop is all up on my *** tailgating me, his lights sort of drown out the light coming out of my tails. I'd really rather not have to sand the lights all the way down, and re-clearcoat them back to stock if I don't have to. The cop said i have 10 days to take care of the fix it ticket, and 30 days to send the paper back in to the mva.

Funny thing is, the cop was real nice about it (usualy they are ******** around here because they don't have anything better to do) he even escorted me home so I didn't get rear-ended.

FWIW - you don't have to clearcoat the lights, they can be plenty shiny w/o clear.

If you do end up with another set of NB tail lights, I'll buy the drivers side one when you're done with them. Mine's busted. :(

yeah, only issue is that I'll have to sand them rather roughly to get things back to plastic. I've already done it once, and it was a pain in my ***...

WOW, i think you just changed my mind and convinced me to tint my tails on my black NA. Did you use the niteshades stuff?

When do you need them by? You can borrow mine this weekend if you want. I should be home all day Friday, most of the day Saturday, and all day Sunday. I'm in Severn, about 2 miles from Arundel Mills Mall.
