I signed up for HPDE 3, so we will see how that goes with no prior expirience with NASA. Maybe they will let me transfer over smoothly, maybe not. So help me god if I have to be in HPDE 1 becasue of no history with them.

Trey, the most dangerous group in NASA is the HPDE1/2 because of the noobage, HPDE3/4 is a lot safer due to the drivers being more experienced with TT being the safest.
Robert, I knew you already had the Cali hauler so I opted for the plush puller. I can't pull down a house but I can pull two Miata's lol. Make a driving resume ie
8/3/07 - Cabiniss Airfield PCA red group
11/17/07 - MSR-H ETG blue group
6/6/08 - TWS open track day by TWS
bla
bla
Just so there is no worries they took my friend in Feb of 09 into HPDE1 and by the end of the weekend he was HPDE3. He was a total noob and had never even autoxed. Don't worry about it guys.

of course not. most people will have more time, money, sweat, and tears in their cars than even you do! lol, nobody want's to trade paint period. even in tt, even though there's open passing, i almost never see a pass in a corner. they usually stay back for a sec. to get a run on you coming out of a corner. only time i ever see someone pass on the inside in the middle of a turn is when there's 2 vastly different car's (like a spec miata and a radical or lou gillotti race vette) and the slower car stays to the outside of a turn to let the faster car by.
and robert, you sign up for hpde3 and you'll be in hpde3. there isn't anybody to say wether you are worthy or not. they are way too busy to question what group you sign up for. if you were a noob, the corner workers and stewards would be able to tell and would flag you and have you take a check ride. as it is, no one is gonna assign an instructor to you guys. you will have to ASK for one if you want one to ride with you. you remember what that tws pre-season challenge was like? that's pretty much how it's gonna be. someone will take your money, someone will tech your car (they didn't do that at tws that day) and your gonna get on track. i used to get an instructor in the car at a new track, just to show me the line and tips or markers, but now i just ask friends that i see at all the nasa events that have driven there before. or you can go to the classroom session and they usually point out stuff on the track to look out for.

Write down every cert you have too. The resume is not required but helps a lot when getting classed correctly your first time. Some of you might be able to go to TT on the first day. Everyone from Corpus 5-6 of us are sleeping in cars/tents at the track. A lot goes on after the racings over that you will miss if your at a hotel. Bring some beer, and fajita meat ...

How many of you scrubs have already signed up for the 30th? It's less than a month away, so get on it!
