Default TRACK DAY....Summit Point Shenandoah May 17-18

For those of you that own a Miata and have never run the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point in West Virginia, you don't know what you are missing.

In my eyes, the Shenandoah Circuit was designed for a Miata.

TrackDaze is hosting a HPDE on May 17-18 and I will be there instucting. Here' a link to the registration page:

https://www.trackdaze.com/index.php?...d=55&Itemid=88

Anybody interested?

Here's a video of me running Shenandoah last year. Note that this event was with MDA and they ran the Pit straight. TrackDaze will not be using the Pit straight.

probably not. you typically need to make sure your wheels are secured and you have a helmet to do an hpde on at SP.

You guys missed a killer weekend.

Here's one session from last weekend. My car was running extremely rich, therefore down on power a little, but still extremely fun. In FEB, I was hanging right on the bumper of the 350z up to 120mph at VIR and as you can see in these videos he pulls me pretty hard in the straights. I need to get back to the dyno. I was tempted to pull some fuel at the track, but knew better.

Chasing the 350Z and the M3 were the highlight of the weekend. We moved right through the pack in the instructor group. Really cool!

As you can see, I add a little aero for the full rice wannabe effect.

I love the Shenandoah circuit! I posted a vid a while ago of a WRX jumping the hill just before the banked turn, right into the tires during OneLap a few years ago. Scary.
