Some say that brake pads squeal with delight when he is nearby, and that only he can hear them since the squeals are ultrasonic. All we know is he is called the Hustler.

So when is the next TxMC event? I cannot find the schedule and the supermiata site is still down.

Some say he inspired a song by Cake, others say he strength comes from passing Porsche's at the track. All we know is his name is Hustler.

only concrete date is nov. @ tws, i was trying to find a club renting out h2r to join in on. but i think it would be better and easier to just go during a member's day. i'm assuming about 10 drivers, we could pay for 4 or 8hrs. do you know how many cars can run as guests of a member? i'm sure we could get a few more members to meet us there, miata or not, for a day of fun if that's required also. I'm thinking mid-late Oct. on a Fri. Can you find out about that for us john? Other than that if you guys want another date on the calender there's always Aug. 6th TWS, but of course it's still hellish hot at that time.

sample schedule looks like:

Aug. 6th TWS 2.9cw*
Oct. 21st H2R 1.8cw*
Nov. 26th TWS 2.9ccw final
*tentative dates

Thanks John for the dates. I'm marking my calendar for upcoming candidate track events. I may go into Texas hibernation for the next month or two. I'll look into H2R.

Some say that his fillings are made from melted-down piston rods, and that his fingernails are kept precisely shaved for use as gap gauges. All we know is he's called the Hustler.

Great video, but here are two suggestions anyway:

Put the camera higher (if you can't see the hood, it's not high enough) and the window wipers lower. Better yet, remove the wipers - it was a hot, sunny day, what do you need wipers for?

Count me in for HHR in September, I may bring my sister down for one too. She's been denying herself liberty by not attending these.

I'm doing both, they're not in the same month but I can't keep it straight. Hopefully, when that time comes I'll drive 4-hours in the right direction (north or south). lol

Some say that he runs a 3" exhaust because he cannot make love to anything smaller, and that his driving suit is reversed for protection from the inside-out. All we know is he is called the Hustler.

Spoolin send me a pm with your e-mail address. I have some initial feedback from H2R on a TxMC event. Nothing exciting.
