Hey guys!

So I am on the University of Pittsburgh's Formula SAE team and one of our main sponsors is Feel Your Boobies, a breast cancer awareness foundation. So we thought, in an effort to get some donations and have a good time, that we would have a car show!

This is somewhat late notice, but it looks like October 22ed is going to be the date (October is breast cancer awareness month!). The location will be somewhere on Pitt's campus (we are hoping to be able to shut down a main street right on campus for it). We will be taking donations for FYB.

So far it should be free to show a car, that shouldn't be changing.

We are talking with some local dealerships as well, try to get some new cars down there.

Overall the goal is to have fun, raise some money for a really good cause, show off the FSAE car, and have an awesome car show that we could start doing every year.


Please post if you have any suggestions or can attend. The more people that respond the better!

I can probably make it down there for a bit, Its my weekend to work but since I work in Oakland it won't be a problem. One of my Forester friends is an engineer who went to Pitt so he will probably be down for this too. He has a ton of local Subaru friends including Ryan Moore (www.mooreperformanceparts.com) who would probably be interested too.

 

Awesome, I will contact Ryan. Also, it is looking like Sunday will be the day. I will post official info in a day or two.

Sunday OCTOBER 23rd STARTING AT 10AM. The show will be on Bigelow Blvd, between 5th and Forbes ave. (Yes, we are closing down the street). It will be all day.

Damn I see it was moved to the 23rd, I'm doing a track event at Nelson Ledges that day. :(

 

Less than a week! It would be nice to have a couple turboed miatas there haha.
