Let's see if I can make this work (at least the 2nd time around). These were taken last night by Mike from the AZMazda Club. This first is the Team Voodoo emblem. It shows that while I drive a Miata, I have a big, prancing **** (well, on the side of the car anyways ).

Oh yeah, then to back it up.

The mud in the engine bay is the result of a track day at the soon to be opened Inde Motorsports Ranch over in Wilcox, AZ. I didn't have an off, the county road leading up to the entrance is a dirt road in the process of being paved. It was raining & sleeting as I left. What a mess getting in & out, but what an incredible track! If there are any of y'all in AZ, Southern CA, NV or NM, you should take a look into coming down for a track day. They anticipate the county to have the road paved by the end of March.

It doesn't really look that miata friendly. It looks like a high speed track to me.

I mean, Hi, welcome to MT.net.

Howdy back at ya'! Gallo Rampante is my little joke, in addition to all of the other Voodoo Racing fans. I've been around since I was Ubercharged & then TC'd with the FM Stroker motor. Since I never bonded well with the Hydra Nemesis, this stock GMPerformance ECU makes life mo' easier.

You'd be surprised at how well a N/A Miata does, particularly in the back twisties. Having boost, or in my case displacement, makes the straight fun & keeps the bigger cars from running away from you. BTW, the new direction is primarily CW, as they found too many drivers eating dirt at the end of the straight in the CCW orientation.

Its because you linked them to a site you need registration for. Move them to tinypic.com or something.

Ohhhh, I want my swap done soon. Looks like mine won't start until late summer. I'm guessing I'll bring it to the open house/summer camp and leave it at that time.

Geoff - post some videos of that car. Did you find your coolant leak?

Looks like a fun track! Elevation changes and ability to run both directions FTW.

They did find that the radiator itself had not leaks. They swapped out the fancy hose clamps for what look like OEM clamps & it quit leaking. They also had to rebuild Myron's lexan fan plate, it had cracked badly, with aluminum.

I think that every time I take it out, hence the Gallo Rampante!

Is this one of those famous 30k Flyin Miata LS swaps?

I think I hate your tailights.

Yes it is. From the old phrase "Those that can do. Those that can't, pay someone else to do it for them." I am a self admitted Mechanical Mental Minus. I can break anything that works before I start messing with it.

You mean these?

Yep, they're an acquired taste. Fortunately, SWMBO & I like them & that's all that matters. Someday I'll see if anybody in GB has a single left sided clear backup lens they don't want anymore. Otherwise I'll just live with the red driver side fog lens.
