I'm not being an ass. Because I actually like Matt. I've hung out with him and chatted with him. He's not a bad guy at all.

But the shop that did his dyno / tuning is the same shop that claims if you properly tune the car, stock rods will last at over 400 rwhp and also claim to have tuned a DSM ecu in a Stock N.A. BP to something like 180hp.

So I take all the HP claims with a grain of salt.

The shop that does his dyno/tuning does get stock BPs to last over 400whp. But these are street cars with very little timing and oversized turbos, often in Proteges. Literally every other platform with BPs in them outside of a Miata gets away with making a lot more power on stock motors than we do. Those platforms also don't get used like ours do.

Definitely Fisher Price My First Disneyjet numbers, though.
