Okay, the door looks like it retained the windows and cranks. What's the interference with the nascar bars? How far down can you roll your windows? did you have to modify the track and/or crank mechanism to make this work?

Car looks great.

I took a peek at this car last night, and it looks like the NASCAR bars just sit a little further in than mine do. The window retains full range of motion.

WG was a case of user error, much like your homeless father's failure to retract from coitus.

As for the EWG issue, i somehow overlooked two ports on the dump tube side, total user error for sure.

Also have to cut that bolt to seal the top, car has been on jack stands since the day the thread was created. :(

Let us know how well you build and hold boost to redline, spikes, creeps etc... when you drive it. I'm threatening to go ewg soon and want to know that these mv-s will fix my issues! I know that there is no real comparison between internal and external gates, i'm just kicking myself in the *** for not doing this the first time around...

Nice plot Sav. I would be cool to see a similar plot from thesnowboarder with his 2860rs. Get to it nick!

If i have time ill hopefully be able to get onto a dyno by the end of the month. I should have a plot by the end of Jan for sure. Retail is kicking my free time in the ***** :(

I am LOVING the 2860 vs the 2560, spool isn't bad at all and i finally understand how a "small" turbo "runs out of steam" on the top end. I cant wait to get this thing kicking to 15-18 psi. Shall be a good time when i do.

Butt dyno says 11psi from the 2860 is faster than 18 psi out of the 2560 on my old motor.

On another side note, installing the entire manifold/turbo/dp/wastegate take a whopping 30-40 min. Where the begi stuff would take me a solid 2 hours.

Great! Make impressive numbers so I can sell the 2860rs I bought with the tial buy-in! The interest has shifted lately to 3071r quotes and I don't wanna be stuck with this disco potato

ill try my best Tim, however i do want to keep the thing safe. Reliability is key for me right now. Not really looking for "big" numbers, but being able to take an entire track day without issues

Got a few new parts in:

Probably carbotech xp12s i haven't decided if i want to go with the 10s or 12s, i had 10s on the 1.8 setup before and they were great till i turboed it. Two track days and they were gone. The 12s lasted me 4 days, and i got some taper like everyone gets. I can only assume with more power and more track time ill need better pads. Would hate to shell out twice just to find out i needed the 12s over the 10s.

Maybe Sav has a spare set i can test out for a day and see how they feel.
