Enough of the hating! I'm sick of hearing people broadcast their jealousy of Ken Block on every damn forum this video's posted on. Nobody cares what you think of the guy, so don't post it. Also, at what point did Rob Dyrdek get involved in this? Go do your hating on a blog. This is an automotive forum, not your platform to rant about how you hate everyone who wears a fitted hat.

With that said, the Gymkhana videos are great entertainment. Being a car enthusiast, any time someone does something innovative and provides a quality product like this is exciting. I loved the drift up the bank. That must've felt crazy in the car. I'd love to drive on that track even though the miata would only see like 110 after 5 minutes of my foot to the floor haha.

 

That **** pisses me off and if there is an kick *** version of a car like turbo AWD and **** its offord over seas and not here. Like the VW Bug RS (Turbo AWD) Ford Escort RS (Turbo AWD) Ect. Ect.

Don't think I'm ignorant enough to actually believe 100% of fitted cap wearers are actually douchebags. I wouldn't take any of the bullshit I say seriously.

...self-promoter? Why the hell not, seems to be working and I certainly wouldn't mind having the sponsors he does. A good business starts somewhere and he certainly is doing it right, or his media crew - regardless if he's a douche or not. I thoroughly enjoyed the vid wishing I could do a 1/16th of the stuff he did! WRC champion, maybe not now, but give him a year or two and lets see where he stands. He may be another Danica Patrick - who knows (meaning all talk, little show - racewise).

 

There is a video of an interview somewhere on youtube I watched, where Ken states hes extremely far behind in skill level from Latvila after taking lessons from him. And admits that sliding a car with that much power on street tires is miles away from rallying with R-comps on Tarmac. He seems modest for a guy who uses his money to have fun while promoting his product. I'm sure if anyone had the money they would do the same. I do believe that he will however never be a WRC championship contender.
