I figured someone here might enjoy this. These videos are of my '07 STi, not my Miata, at the capital driving club event at Baysox stadium in Bowie, MD on April 3rd. It was my first autocross in a few years, and I was pleased running in the middle of the pack (my fastest time was a 36.7 I think, while FTD was a 31.something in a supercharged FF Cobra). The first video was shot with my girlfriend's camera, and the second video was taken from a rearview mirror-mounted upside-down webcam wired into an in-dash touchscreen. You may want to skip to 1:18 or so on the second video. Bodyroll FTW!

 

i will see you at one of these events for sure this season. My buddy Denise really wanted me to go to this event, but i had to bail. looked like a fun short course.
