It really is strange how dressing, acting, and speaking like a clean-cut individual will reduce the amount of undue attention one receives from Johnny Law.

Yes, it does help, but it does not eliminate the chance of "wrong place/wrong time".

I was watching "DEA" the other day on Spike. They thought a deli was selling over the counter, so they pulled people over as they left to check their bags. Nothing suspicious about these people other then they left the deli.

You would have been amazed how many people let these DEA officers trample their rights. People had ribs spilled on their seats, harassed, pulled out of the car, etc, etc.

No drugs were found, no arrests made. All for naught. **** that.

I like the BS bait cars now. Park a car in a bad neighborhood, leave it unlocked, leave the keys in the ignition. They sit on those cars for days at a time. Imagine the waste of time it is to have several officers staking out a planted car at a single location for a couple of days hoping someone will be dumb enough to get in and drive away. Isn't there enough real crime out there they shouldn't have to create it?

On the clean cut issue...

I'm a very clean cut guy. Trimmed beard, short hair, well dressed.

Was at a local "dirt bar" as I call them.... granted: wrong place.

Ended up arguing w/ the g/f in the bar so we go out and get in her car rather than make a scene in the place. We're in there 5 minutes and I keep seeing this bald guy's head pop up from a few cars down the parking lot. He gets two cars closer and then is within 1 car from us. I see him pop up and look at us again and I jump out of the car and yell at him, "Hey man, what the hell are you doing?!!" He runs at me screaming, " (local) Police Department, stay right there!!!"

I'm wearing a button up, dress shoes, nice jeans... g/f in nice clothes...

Within seconds 2 cars pull in and block our car. They pull her aside and the cop keeps yelling at her, "Are there guns involved!!!?? Are there drugs!?? He's been hitting you, right!??"

I of course, upon hearing him, start mouthing off telling him he's an idiot, he's wasting my tax dollars, he's a poor excuse of someone serving my city, he's displaying a prime example of entrapment.

His fellow officers body slam me against my g/f's car, and like something fresh out of a COPS episode, start screaming "STOP RESISTING!!" I was tipsy, but was amazed they let me talk all that ****, I figured I was getting slammed a lot sooner. LOL Not to joke, I just remember my mind-set.

It was insane. All this over an in-car argument. I ended up looking at the other two officers and just saying, "Look at me. I'm not some gangsta Eminem kid, you've got the wrong guy. Think about it."

They let us go, told me I was never allowed back in the bar.

I went home and emailed the mayor and reported their conduct and their badge numbers. Never heard a peep back. They were punk *** city cops, our county cops are much more mature.
